Marist School Athletics
Marist Athletics is an important component of the school’s mission to “form the whole person.”  Since the school’s founding in 1901, thousands of Marist students have learned sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, personal responsibility and leadership on the playing fields.

Today, more than 80% of Marist students participate in at least one of the school’s 70 interscholastic athletic teams, receiving lessons in responsibility to their school, their teams, and themselves.

A commitment to excellence is shown by the administration, faculty, coaches, parents, and student athletes. In 2011, Marist was awarded the AAAA GADA Directors Cup for the 12th consecutive year in recognition of outstanding overall performance. In addition, the War Eagles were honored as one the nation's top 15 high school athletic programs by Sports Illustrated based on all-around excellence.
