Class Delegates
Each class of the Marist Alumni Association has at least one member from each class serve as the representative to his or her class. If you are interested in becoming a Class Delegate, or would like to assist your Class Delegate, please contact the Alumni Association.To see who your class delegate(s) is/are, please visit your class page. Class Delegates are listed at the top of the class role with an * after the name.
2012-2013 Duties of Class Delegates

Alumni Association Meetings – attend the 2 annual Alumni Association Meetings (Fall and Spring) and encourage your classmates to attend

Alumni Association Events – encourage classmates to attend major Alumni Association events, such as Homecoming festivities, Golf Tournament, Women’s Luncheon, and other events sponsored by the Alumni Association

Annual Fund* – make a gift to the Alumni Annual Fund for Tuition Assistance (AAFTA) by June 30, 2012; attend and participate in 2 phonathons (fall and spring) or recruit at least 1 classmate to attend in your place; review and approve 2 class delegate fundraising letters and attend 2 signathons (fall and spring) to sign letters and add handwritten notes.

Alumni Tent at Football Games – serve as a host for 1 quarter at the Alumni Tent at home football games for which your class is the designated sponsor (or recruit a classmate to serve in your place)

Social Event – organize at least 1 class social event per year, which requires only identifying a venue and inviting classmates to attend

Class Notes – assist the Alumni Association in gathering information for publication in the Class Notes and Alumni Spotlight sections of Marist publications

Initiate Class Reunions – assist the Reunion Committee in identifying classmates to organize class reunions (every 5 years only)
*If you prefer to delegate your fundraising responsibilities to another classmate, please notify the Alumni office as soon as possible with the Annual Fund representative’s name.
