The evening of October 24 was dedicated to celebrating students’ academic excellence and commitment in their language studies. Sixty-four students were inducted into the Marist chapters of the National Language honor societies, which set the criteria for membership. Each honors student has attained a minimum 3.6 cumulative average in the language after at least two years of study. The honors language student demonstrates a love for the subject, curiosity beyond the classroom, initiative, and leadership.
