Marist's improvisational comedy troupe, Laughing Stock, will perform in Woodruff Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 22. Admission is a non-perishable food item to fill coffers sponsored by Campus Ministry. Laughing Stock, comprised of 9th-12th graders, practices short and long-form improvisational comedy techniques and games during selected activity periods under the guidance of professional troupe members from Laughing Matters and Dad's Garage Theatre. Using suggestions and ideas from the audience, they create hilarious scenes, skits, songs, and sometimes even poetry. Come participate in a very funny evening and see why members Katie Meyer, Eric McGaw, Shaun Walker and Chris Pilkey won the Dad's Garage First Annual Improv Competition last spring.
