Track and Field

The track and field team is winding up a great season by sending qualified athletes to the state competition.  Competing in the boys meet in Jefferson, Ga are David Connolly, in the 1600m and 3200m runs, Daniel Arias in pole vault, Burke McCarty in discus, and Trey Nordone in shot put.  Qualifying for the girls meet in Albany Ga is Sophie Harkins, in the 1600m and 3200 m runs.  Congratulations to all of these athletes who made it through the tough region 6 AAAA division, one of the toughest in the state.  Adding to the difficulty of making it to the state meet is the fact that only the top two athletes in each event can qualify.  Good luck to everyone!
