The Marist Way Vocations Cross
At every 7:30 a.m. Friday morning Mass in the Marist chapel, a family receives a profession cross of the Society of Mary. A Marist priest accepts such a cross at the time of his profession to the priesthood. To take part in this simple activity– an activity that nourishes the spiritual foundation of this school and the society that founded it–simply sign up to receive the cross and attend that regularly scheduled Friday Mass morning during the school year. Just return the cross to the altar before the next scheduled Friday morning Mass.
By receiving the cross, you are praying for a deeper understanding of vocations for all of our students in the school community, and you are praying for vocations to the Society of Mary worldwide. The Marists thank you!
