The following are some of the major changes in the 2006-07 student handbook.

Section 2.7.1: Please review this section to be aware of the importance of knowledge of school regulations.

Section 2.9: Please review the revised Computer Network Acceptable Use Policy. Please refer to the paragraph regarding blogging and sites such as MySpace.com and Facebook.com.

Section 3.2.2: Future absences that will require a student to miss more than one day of school should be received in writing at least one week in advance of the planned absence. When the request is submitted, a planned absence form will be provided to the student by the Dean of Students. The student will then bring the planned absent form to his/her teachers for their signature.

Section 3.4: If a student needs to meet with a teacher, coach, or moderator during study hall, he/she should bring a note from that person to the study hall proctor. Also, a signed note with the time on it should accompany the student when returning to study hall.

Section 3.5: Senior study hall or open campus does not excuse seniors from being on campus during Activity Period.

Section 5.5.3: Academic dishonesty in regard to computer translations in modern and classical language courses.
