    Marist Readers Defend Title in Archdiocese of Atlanta's Battle of the Books

    Marist School proudly hosted the Battle of the Books competition on March 21, welcoming nearly 300 talented students enrolled in 3rd-8th grade. Established in 2003 by Catholic school librarians and sponsored by the Archdiocese of Atlanta, this event gathered young readers from Catholic schools across the greater Atlanta area, including many siblings of current Marist students, for a thrilling literary competition.

    The Marist 8th grade team successfully defended their championship title at this year's event. Grant Crunk, Claire Duffy, Eleanor McElhanon, and Ella Straessle from the Class of 2028 concluded their Battle of the Books careers with a resounding victory, marking the end of an era filled with dedication to and passion for reading.
