The parents of current students are essential to the success of all programs at Marist School. Parents provide countless volunteer hours in support of school activities and provide significant financial assistance to Marist athletic and artistic programs. There are six active parent organizations on campus.

Parents’ Club

The Marist Parents’ Club was established in 1951 and is open to all parents of Marist students. The club fosters the intellectual and cultural life of the students, promotes an understanding and cooperative spirit between parents and faculty, and cultivates a spirit of friendliness among parents themselves. There are a wide variety of activities that benefit all members of the Marist community, namely: The Campus Shop, Marist Home Tour and Auction, Holiday Traditions, Room Mothers, Special Projects, Social Committee, Marist Cookbook, Used Book Store and Families in Action.

Booster Club

The Booster Club is comprised of approximately 500 members (parents, alumni, and friends) who support Marist’s proud tradition of athletic accomplishment. The Booster Club champions the cause of all seventeen team sports under one organization.  Find out more about the Marist School Booster Club here.

Marist Arts Guild (MAG)

The Marist Arts Guild (MAG) is the new entity created when the boards of The Marist Music Association and Friends of Woodruff voted to merge the two organizations into one. Through combining the efforts of both groups, a stronger, more efficient volunteer organization was created promoting the needs of all the fine arts programs at Marist – instrumental and choral music, dramatic and visual arts.  For more information about MAG, please click here.

Mothers’ Prayer Group

The Marist Mothers’ Prayer Group was formed in 1978 by a group of multi-denominational mothers who believed in the power of prayer. They meet in members’ homes on the first Friday of each month to pray for the needs of Marist students, parents, and faculty. Coffee and fellowship are at 10:00 AM followed by a devotional and voluntary prayer at 10:30 AM. Members enjoy assisting with Campus Ministry activities, providing refreshments for the teachers at the end of each term, and planning the annual spring retreat for all Marist mothers and friends. There are no dues or requirements for membership. All mothers are cordially invited to join this nondenominational group.

Fathers’ Bible Study

Founded in 2002 through the Center for Marist Spirituality, the Fathers’ Bible Study meets each Tuesday morning for the study of the upcoming Sunday readings, prayer and fellowship.
