Marist School Library
The Mission of the Marist Library
To support, enhance, and extend the curriculum of the school as it works to prepare students for their future. The library program places particular emphasis on the need for today's students to develop the ability to access, evaluate, and use information independently and effectively. Given the unprecedented increase in knowledge content and formats facing these students, this information literacy is critical to their development into lifetime learners.

The Collection
Materials are selected for the library after considering their ability to support the curriculum and/or the reading interests of students and faculty.

Most books and materials may be checked out for a period of three weeks. Reference books may be checked out for overnight use only. Reserve books have checkout limits set by the instructor placing them on reserve. Audiovisual materials and equipment may be checked out from the library with permission of the course instructor.

Electronic Resources
Destiny, our online catalog, provides call numbers for locating all of the library's materials. The library subscribes to full-text periodical databases such as ProQuest, subject specific resources like Access Science, and online encyclopedias. Many of the electronic resources permit student access from home with passwords. Please log in to access your database passwords.
