Marist Student Build

Marist School Student Build is a student led committee that collaborates with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable housing constructed by volunteers.

The Marist School Chapter was the very first High School Habitat for Humanity chapter in the world. For twenty years, Marist students have been raising funds to build a home along with four other private schools; Pace Academy, Westminster Schools, The Lovett School and Woodward Academy.

Students over 16 may build in the Fall for direct service hours, but students in all grades are welcome to serve on the Student Build Committee.

This Fall, 2011 the Student Build will begin construction on their 20th house. For more details contact Karen Shanahan or at 770-936-2280.

Girls Soccer Program

The Marist Student Build would like thank the Girl’s Soccer Program for their continued support of our house build.. Every year the entire Girl’s soccer program (Varsity – Middle School) raises funds for Marist Student Build. We could not meet our fundraising goals without their assistance.
Thank you for all you do to support our efforts.

The Marist Women Build chapter was also the first High School Women’s chapter in the world. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year by building two homes for deserving families.
The women on this committee continue to support our efforts through donations and additional support. They share the same mission and work tirelessly to help us achieve our goals.

This Parent led organization has been strong supporters of our efforts every year. They make a donation to our cause and help us meet our fundraising goals.
Thanks to all who continue to help us.
