Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Lyrics by Tim Rice
The biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors is brought to vivid life in this witty, touching, and clever musical. Young Joseph has been blessed with the gift of prophecy, much to the chagrin of his jealous brothers. They sell him into slavery thinking that he’s done for….but Joseph’s destiny has far more in store for him. This riotous romp through the Holy Land has it all: calypso rhythms, country/western twang, big Broadway numbers, dancing cows and corn, a Pharoah who looks remarkably like Elvis Presley, and tons of laughs!

Racked with teen anguish, Jonny charges off on his motorcycle and speeds directly into the nuclear waste dump – only to return from the dead glowing and determined to take Toffee to the prom. The tyrannical principal orders him to drop dead (again) while a scandal reporter seizes on him as the freak du jour. History comes to his rescue while a tuneful selection of original songs in the style of 50s hits keeps the action rocking across the stage in this hilarious “girl-loves-ghoul” spectacle!
