Academic Resources

Hero

Marist School is dedicated to creating an optimal learning environment to draw out and enhance the unique strengths of our students. We support holistic growth across academic, social-emotional, and spiritual areas.

With resources for academic support, comprehensive personal and academic counseling, and state-of-the-art technology initiatives, Marist is a place where every student can thrive.

Faculty members, counselors, and campus ministers play a crucial role in nurturing the God-given greatness of our students, ensuring they are prepared to lead and serve with conviction and heart.

Personal & Academic Counseling

Marist’s Counseling Office, staffed with five personal and academic counselors, provides personalized counseling services and support for students, including individual counseling sessions, classroom guidance, and crisis intervention. Working toward the whole-person development of our students, they assist on a variety of levels including mental health issues, academic concerns, course planning, career guidance, and social/personal concerns. Counselors also offer faculty/staff professional development and parent programs. Marist’s steadfast concern for wellness even extends beyond high school through a complimentary student assistant program for young alumni.

Marist School Library

Marist School’s Library fosters a love of reading, inquiry, and learning among students, nurturing informed, ethical, and engaged learners. Students develop information literacy by accessing diverse digital and traditional resources and learning to evaluate information critically. Librarians collaborate with faculty for project-specific research instruction, and the library is open throughout the day for individual and group study, ensuring continuous academic support. The library holds over 16,000 physical items and comprehensive online resources, including peer-reviewed journals and literary criticism databases. The Marist School Library also houses the Marist Way Reading Room, featuring an extensive collection of books and artifacts about the Society of Mary, enriching the school community’s understanding of the Marists’ impact on the Catholic Church and Marist School.
