All applicants must take the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). To submit scores directly to Marist School , enter our school code, 4870, when registering. Marist typically receives scores directly from SSAT within one week of testing. Additional scores may be submitted in March, but the initial score must be received by Marist prior to your child's February interview.
Additionally, Marist School requires the Character Skills Snapshot (CSS) as a component of our application. We know your child is much more than grades and test scores and you, as parents, are interested in an education that focuses on instilling character values and encouraging personal growth. The CSS will provide us richer, holistic information about your child and illuminate areas where our community can help them grow, thrive and shine as individuals. For more information and details about the CSS, please read Because Character Matters. How to Access the Character Skills Snapshot explains in detail the process for taking and submitting the CSS from your home computer.
In order for Marist School to receive your child's transcripts and standardized test results, you must print the Transcript Request Form, complete it, and deliver to your child's current school. Access the Transcript Request Form through your Ravenna account. Schools may mail or email your child's records to email@example.com.
As a Catholic school, Marist School believes all families should be active in a community of believers. Participation in meaningful faith activities both at home and church, or other place of worship, is vital in the overall development of the child. Deliver the appropriate form to your priest or religious leader to complete and return directly to Marist via mail or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
