Billing and payment for tuition, fees, and additional expenses are handled through Smart Tuition. Upon acceptance to Marist School, families set up a Smart Tuition account.

A $2,000 enrollment payment is due at the time of enrollment. This amount covers the $500 registration fee and $1,500 advance deposit, which is applied to tuition. The enrollment payment is reduced to $500 for students receiving tuition assistance.

Families have the option to pay the balance of tuition in full on July 1; in two payments on July 1 and December 1; or over 10 months beginning on July 1.

All cafeteria charges, student activity fees, and miscellaneous charges will be billed over the course of the year and must be paid on the subsequent month's bill via Smart Tuition.

Yes, 529 plan payments of up to $10,000 per calendar year per student can be used to pay Marist tuition expenses. For more information, please see our 529 document.

The purpose of our tuition assistance program is to help ensure a socio-economically diverse student body, to allow full participation in academic and student activities, and to support enrolled students whose families experience unexpected financial hardship.

Both parents, even non-custodial parents, are required to submit financial documentation. Any responsibility for a student's educational costs that Marist School may accept must come after the obligation of the child's parents, regardless of the personal or legal relationship between the two. Therefore, the tuition assistance committee will consider the resources of both natural parents. If the custodial parent is remarried, the resources of the step-parent are also considered, taking into account the obligations of the step-parent to his or her own natural children.

Approximately 17% of our students receive tuition assistance.

Tuition assistance provides funds to assist families pay for tuition and required fees, including annual registration and use of a student laptop. The cost of textbooks, uniforms, and lunch are not covered by tuition assistance.  

For families receiving tuition assistance of 75% or more, participation fees for student activities will be reduced by the percentage of aid awarded. Otherwise, expenses related to student activities are also the family's responsibility. 

The Marist Work-Study program is available for a limited number of students to earn tuition credit for performing a minimum number of hours of work for Marist School during the summer.
