For the first time, the Marist Alumni Association will be conducting an overnight retreat. It is scheduled for January 28-29 at Camp Westminster in Conyers, a little over 30 minutes from Atlanta, with a social event scheduled for January 27th at Marist School. Alumni, parents of alumni, and friends of Marist School are invited to participate.
The theme of the retreat is "The Upper Room," which is a reference to the room(s) in which the Disciples gathered in the New Testament. We will explore four specific moments: (1) Eucharist, when Christ gathered with the Disciples for the last supper; (2) Passion, when the Disciples gathered in fear after Christ was crucified; (3) Resurrection, when the resurrected Christ appeared in the midst of the Disciples; and (4) Pentecost, when the Disciples were gathered, and the Holy Spirit descended upon them.

Retreat leaders and guest speakers will explore these themes from the perspective of the values of the Society of Mary, and the sessions will relate to our daily lives.
