Band Ensembles
Marist’s band program helps students develop technical skills, music theory knowledge, and practice habits that help them shine in rehearsal and performance. With an award-winning marching band as well as symphonic band ensembles, Marist’s instrumental instruction fosters musical aptitude, individual expression, and collaboration. Students explore music literature from a variety of genres and cultures, helping them to grow in their artistic understanding and creative capabilities.
Choral Groups
Marist’s choral music program exemplifies excellence as students learn the value of personal responsibility when collaborating in an ensemble to perform choral masterpieces from sacred and secular literature and musical works from diverse cultures. Through various choral offerings, students learn the fundamentals of vocal technique, music theory, and sight singing as they develop respect and appreciation for the extraordinary capabilities of the human voice.
