Mission of Marist Athletic Program

The Marist athletic program is an integral part of Marist School's overall mission "to form the whole person in the image of Christ through instruction grounded in the Judeo-Christian Heritage, the teachings of the Catholic Church, and the spirit of the Society of Mary."

The program is structured to assist in the overall physical and personal development of the student athletes and to offer varied opportunities for leadership and participation. Student-athletes should be coached and motivated to want to excel within the parameters of good sportsmanship and discipline. Competition, as taught through athletics, is a sound experience for living in a competitive society.
