2026 season:

Marist Football 7/8/9^th grade football

1. Tryouts are not required and rosters are not limited. Anyone trying out for a team will make the team provided they have passed the physical.  No experience necessary… we welcome new players to the “Greatest Team Game in the History of the World.”
2. 7^th, 8^th and 9^th grade team player/parent meeting on Sunday, July 26 at 6:00 pm.  First practices Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31, 4:00 – 6:00 pm each day.  Practices the first week are acclimatization practices for five days without pads.  Five days of acclimatization practice must be completed before a player can put on pads.
3. 7^th/8^th Scrimmage Jamboree Saturday, August 15 at Blessed Trinity at 9:00 am.
4. Summer conditioning workouts for rising 7^th, 8^th and 9^th graders are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 – 11:00 am the weeks of June 15, 22 and weeks of July 6, 13 and 20 .
5. Rising 7^th, 8^th and 9^th graders are encouraged to attend Alan Chadwick War Eagle Football camps June 1-5 and 8-12.  Players can register on the Marist Summer Camps website https://www.marist.com/summercamps  .
