Chieko Noguchi ’94

Chieko Noguchi ’94 is the executive director of public affairs for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).She directs all media engagement and social media, serves as the spokesperson for the body of bishops, and works with each office and committee of the USCCB to amplify the voice of the U.S. bishops in the public square. Previously, Noguchi spent a decade at the Archdiocese of Washington in communications which gave her a highly specialized and unique understanding of dioceses in the context of the global Catholic Church. Noguchi’s communications career includes work at global public relations agencies on behalf of clients that ranged from corporations and coalitions to trade associations and government. She began her Washington career on Capitol Hill working for the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives while she was a full-time college student studying political science. Noguchi is the recipient of the Benemerenti Medal from Pope Francis. The honor was conferred in 2016 by Cardinal Wuerl, then-archbishop of Washington for Noguchi’s work in planning and organizing the media surrounding the 2015 visit of Pope Francis to Washington, D.C. Noguchi resides with her family in northern Virginia.

Outstanding Young Alumni Award 

Anna Roche Lange ’13

Anna Roche Lange ’13 is a pediatric nurse practitioner practicing palliative medicine in the Supportive Care Clinic of the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Lange started her career at Children’s as a patient care tech in the Scottish Rite Emergency Department while receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama. She subsequently completed her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Lange finds joy in helping families navigate the unthinkable while facilitating care that improves quality of life and cultivates hope and wellbeing at all stages of illness. Lange runs the clinical program in collaboration with two physicians, caring for over 140+ active patients and 60-70 children who die from pediatric cancer annually. She is actively engaged in palliative care education and works collaboratively with hospice organizations across the state. Lange founded and leads the Supportive Care bereavement program which aims to minimize family suffering by providing resources and support for the first year following the death of the child. She plays a key role in the implementation of the annual Aflac Celebration of Life Ceremony. Lange has been recognized with the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta APP Rising Star Award in 2022 and the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center’s Outstanding Clinical Excellence Award in 2024. She is an active member of the Cathedral of Christ the King and recently completed a two-year commitment serving on the Marist Alumni Board.

Kimberly Dollar

Kimberly Dollar has been connected to Marist communities for nearly 20 years and actively involved at Marist School for more than a decade. She and her husband, Jimmy, are parents to two Marist School graduates, Drew ’19 and Allie ’21, who also attended Notre Dame Academy, a Marist-sponsored school in Duluth. Dollar served on the Notre Dame Academy Board of Trustees before being asked to join the Marist School Board of Trustees in 2016. While her children were Marist students, she volunteered as room mother and team parent and eventually served as co-president of the Marist Parents Club. She and her husband have been devoted supporters of Marist’s philanthropic initiatives, including the Annual Fund and The Way. The Hope. The Promise. capital campaign, for which they served as the Parent Campaign Co-chairs. Dollar played an integral role in Marist’s strategic planning process (see page 5-10) by chairing the Student Life Domain Committee and currently serves on the Advancement Committee. She has served as the board assistant for New Parent Support, helping to welcome new families into the school community. A graduate of the University of Georgia where she majored in risk management and insurance, Dollar worked for Travelers Insurance before devoting her time to family and volunteer service. Dollar is a strong believer in the tradition and path the Marist priests have established at Marist School, and she finds profound joy in giving back and helping to advance the Marist mission into the future.
