Campus Ministry
Campus Ministry serves as the spiritual heart of Marist School, fostering a vibrant faith community on campus, guiding students on their faith journey, and lending a listening ear.
Marist priest Fr. John Ulrich, S.M., serving as school chaplain, works closely with Marist’s campus ministers to model the Marist Way and help students learn to integrate faith into their daily lives.
Marist’s campus ministers coordinate all-school Masses, prayer services, retreats, and other opportunities for spiritual growth. Nurturing among students the Marist value of hospitality and service to others, Campus Ministry oversees the peer leader program and facilitates student community service.
Retreats
Marist’s student retreats are voluntary, but more than 90% of students participate. Retreats at each grade level are student-led and provide a meaningful and fun experience for students to grow in their relationship with God.
Peer Leaders
Peer Leaders embody the Marist spirit of hospitality, welcoming new students into the school community and providing a supportive presence through a student’s first year at Marist.
Liturgy & Prayer
Students play an active role participating in Masses and prayer services and offering daily and classroom prayers. All students are active in their faith at Marist and welcome to participate in prayer life at our school.
Community Service
Serving those in need in the community is essential to the Marist spirit and way of life. Direct community service is a graduation requirement helping to prepare students to be faith-filled servant leaders.
Campus Ministry Activities
Marist students participate in all aspects of campus ministry programs as retreat leaders, altar servers, lectors, music ministers, extraordinary ministers of holy Communion, peer leaders, and more.
Mission Trips
Domestic and international mission trips are in-depth service opportunities that build community and tremendously impact those who serve and those in need.
