Marist Women Build
Who We Are
In 2001, the women of Marist School teamed up with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to form the first high school all-women build in the country.
Marist Women Build's mission is to make homeownership a reality for families in need. We advance our mission by educating women about Habitat for Humanity and by teaching and supporting women volunteers who build with us. All Marist Women Build homes have been built for families with a single parent as head of the household which supports our vision of changing lives one home at a time.
The following is needed to successfully build a Habitat for Humanity home:
- $90,000 in funds raised from Sponsors and Builders
- 200+ Volunteer Builders
- 8 build days, 7 hours each
- Volunteer Builders can build 1 day or multiple days
