Application Process

  • Step 1 – Complete the Request for Information

    If you have not already done so, please complete the Request for Information so that we have your complete information and can send you additional information. Already completed this? Move on to Step 2.
  • Step 2 - Complete the Online Application

    Our application deadline for the 2017-18 academic year was January 30, 2017.  Late applications are not being accepted.  If your family is relocating to the Atlanta area, please contact the Admissions Office to discuss the timing of your move and space availability.

    Applications for the 2018-19 school year will be available in Fall 2017.  To schedule a campus tour and/or shadow day, please resubmit this form in September 2017.   We look forward to meeting you in the near future.  

    This is the parent/guardian Marist Application Form. You will need to sign in with an email address and password which you will use throughout the application process. Please remember to write down which email address and password are associated with this account as Marist School does not have access to your account information.
  • Step 3 - Register for the SSAT

    All applicants must take the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). The last national test date that will meet our deadline is February 11, 2017. Marist School will receive the score directly from SSAT within one week of testing. Additional scores may be submitted in March, but the initial score should be received by Marist prior to the interview. Visit www.ssat.org to register for the test and for additional information. Remember to send the results directly to Marist School by entering our school code, 4870, when registering. The SSAT will be given at Marist School on January 7, 2017.
  • Step 4 - Complete the Student Questionnaire

    The Student Questionnaire must be completed and handwritten by the student and returned to Marist School by January 30, 2017.
  • Step 5 - Deliver Recommendation Forms

    Download the Mathematics Teacher Evaluation and Language Arts Teacher Evaluation forms and take to your teachers AFTER January 2, 2017. Completed teacher forms should be mailed directly from the teacher or school and be received by February 3, 2017.
  • Step 6 - Deliver Transcript Request/Administrator Evaluation Form

    Download the Transcript Request Form and Administrator/Counselor Evaluation Form and take to your school AFTER January 2, 2017. This completed form, official school transcript, and standardized testing should be mailed directly from the school and be received by February 3, 2017.
  • Step 7 - Deliver Parish/Church Verification Form

    This Parish/Church Verification Form should be delivered to your parish, church, or other place of worship. Pastors should complete and return directly to Marist School by February 3, 2017.
  • Step 8 - Track your Application

    You can follow the progress of your application online. Login to your Marist School Application with your email address and password. Items will be marked as “received” when they have been processed in our office. Please note that it does take time to process all additional information to an applicant’s file correctly, so your patience is appreciated. You may contact us after February 8, 2017 if an item has still not been received by our office.

Student Interviews

For the interview, your child will participate with other applicants in an activity that is typical of classroom group projects at Marist School.  This activity should last about an hour. There isn't anything to prepare in advance; just bring a positive attitude and willingness to engage in a fun group exercise.  Dress is casual.  You will be able to schedule this interview after submitting an on-line application.
