After completing a Student Profile in Ravenna, you will return to Marist School's profile in the school directory (click Ravenna Solutions to connect) and click the green Apply button to begin the online application. Marist's admissions application deadline is January 28, 2019.
All applicants must take the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). The last national test date that will meet our deadline is February 2, 2019. Marist School will receive the score directly from SSAT within one week of testing. Additional scores may be submitted in March, but the initial score should be received by Marist prior to the interview. Visit www.ssat.org to register for the test and for additional information. Remember to send the results directly to Marist School by entering our school code, 4870, when registering. The SSAT will be given at Marist School on January 5, 2019.
New this year, Marist School is adding the Character Skills Snapshot (CSS) as a component to our application. We know your child is much more than grades and test scores and you, as parents, are interested in an education that focuses on instilling character values and encouraging personal growth. The CSS will provide us richer holistic information about your child and illuminate areas where our community can help them grow, thrive and shine as individuals. For more information and details about the CSS, please read Because Character Matters. How to Access the Character Skills Snapshot explains in detail the process for taking and submitting the CSS.

As a Catholic school, Marist School believes all families should be active in a community of believers. Participation in meaningful faith activities both at home and at a parish, church, or other place of worship is vital in the overall development of the child. This Church Verification Form should be delivered to your parish, church, temple or mosque. Your Pastor or religious leader should complete and return directly to Marist School by February 1, 2019.
You can follow the progress of your application through Ravenna.
For the interview, your child will participate with other applicants in an activity that is typical of classroom group projects at Marist School. This activity should last about an hour. There isn't anything to prepare in advance; just bring a positive attitude and willingness to engage in a fun group exercise. Dress is casual. You will be able to schedule this interview after submitting an online application.
