Dance

Movement and Rhythm

It is the dance department’s philosophy to offer dance opportunities to any student interested in exploring this art form. The classes are designed to answer the needs of the students who choose to participate, allowing beginners to learn and move at their own pace while the more advanced students are offered other challenges.

Dance is offered every term and is available for all grade levels. The course is a basic introduction to ballet, modern dance, and jazz. For beginning students it is an opportunity to experiment in movement, music, and creativity. For the more advanced student, there are opportunities for self improvement as well as choreography and teaching experience.
