Rounding the Bases

In all, War Eagle baseball has won 13 state titles, the most in Georgia high school history. Marist’s 2011 state championship team was ranked fourth in the nation by ESPN and Baseball America. Home games are played on Jerry Queen Field, named for the War Eagle coach whose teams won five state championships between 1977 and 1985.
