Caroline Chipman '17 wins Scholar Athlete Award

Caroline Chipman '17, current soccer player at the University of Georgia has been named a recipient of the 2019-2020 Joel Eaves Scholar-Athlete Award. This award is presented to the male and female student-athletes with the highest grade point average upon entering the fall semester of his or her senior year, based upon academic hour rather than eligibility.
Chipman is currently a junior in eligibility in her sport and is the second soccer player awarded in program history. Caroline is an accounting major who was a Presidential Scholar on the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll for Spring 2019. She is a staple of Georgia's defense, starting in all games and assisting in five shutouts during the 2018 season. Caroline was recognized during the pregame ceremonies at the Arkansas State football game on September 14, 2019. Congrats Caroline on all of your success!
