Highlighting Recognitions and Scholarships Awarded to Members of the Class of 2020

Marist School is proud to highlight a sampling of the external recognitions and scholarships awarded to members of the remarkable Class of 2020.
Danait Tekie ’20 has received a full four-year scholarship to Spelman College through the Dovey Johnson Roundtree Presidential Scholarship.
 
Aidan Donahue ’20 will be attending Fordham University on an Army ROTC Scholarship and is looking forward to serving his country following graduation.
 
Anthony Branch ’20 has been selected to receive the 1890 Farm Bill Scholarship for four years at Tennessee State University.
 
In addition to other scholarships and recognitions, Kennedy Walls ’20 was awarded an international scholarship, the Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Award Program. Kennedy also received a National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) Virtual Summer Intensive scholarship to study Arabic for five weeks. NSLI-Y is a program of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that promotes critical language learning among American youth.
 
Bill Lamm ’20 was awarded one of 40 Parks Scholarships to North Carolina State, which will cover the full cost of attendance.
