Marist Women Build

Returning Builders

Thank you for your continued commitment to Marist Women Build. We ask each adult builder to raise or contribute $200 to cover building costs. Your “builders fee” donation goes directly to the cost of building this home and allows you to build one or more days. Builders' fees are tax deductible.

The builder fee should not be a barrier to returning to the build. We often have sponsors who don’t use their allotted building spots. Email us at maristwomenbuild@marist.com to explore participating as a sponsored builder.

Remind me of the fine print

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity provides all materials, tools and supervision. No construction skills are needed. Food and great company are provided through Marist Women Build.

  • How long?
Marist Women Build takes place over eight days: seven Saturdays and one Wednesday. We ask our building volunteers to commit to one 8-hour shift. You are welcome to join us for more build days.

  • When?
2019 MWB build dates are March 23, March 30, April 6, April 13, April 27, May 4, May 8, and May 11. See our Build Dates and Tasks page for more information.

  • Who?
We welcome ALL Marist women, alumni, and friends to build with us. All builders must be 16 and older for Days 1 through 7. On Day 8, we welcome Marist daughters, age 14 and up, to build with their moms.

  • No men?
We have designated Build Day 2 for Marist mothers to build with their sons. If you’d like to build with your son, sign up promptly because available slots fill quickly.

  • What will be happening on the day I’m volunteering?
See our Build Dates and Tasks page.

  • What else?
This is a real construction site. Be prepared to work hard and get dirty. We build rain or shine.
