Marist AAPI Affinity Group Shares Lunar New Year Traditions
Newly established this school year, the Marist School AAPI Affinity Group is a vibrant hub, fostering connections among Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students. The group has quickly become an integral part of campus life, serving as a space where students delve into their shared experiences, traditions, and values while strengthening bonds and celebrating diversity. Recently, the group members and moderators marked the Lunar New Year, a significant holiday in many Asian cultures.
Marist School Speech & Debate Team Dominates at State and District Championships
Marist School’s Speech & Debate program completed three consecutive state championship competitions, two of which were hosted on campus. With stellar, consistent performances, the Marist team clinched an impressive three state championships, along with three state runners-up positions, and secured third place in four divisions. They proceeded from these wins to clinch the Overall District Championships at the 2024 District Speech & Debate Tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
Parent Volunteers Amplify Marist School Annual Fund Success
Marist School owes much of its Annual Fund success to the dedicated efforts of the Parent Annual Fund volunteer team, consisting of 15 families who collaborate closely with the Advancement Office. These volunteers play a crucial role in raising awareness and garnering support for the Annual Fund, which directly impacts the school's ability to provide tuition assistance, enhance programs across campus, and address pressing needs as they arise. Through their outreach initiatives, including phone calls, emails, letters, and events, they encourage every member of the parent community to contribute, emphasizing the profound difference even small donations can make in the lives of Marist students.

Marist School is gearing up for an electrifying evening as the Booster Club hosts its biennial “Marist Madness” celebration on March 23, 2024, from 7-10 p.m. in Young Gym, Centennial Center.

Blue & Gold Athletics Circle Recipients Named for 2023
Marist School has named 10 alumni to be inducted into its Blue & Gold Athletics Circle, which was established in 2003 to honor those who have made outstanding contributions to Marist School Athletics. Additionally, two individuals will receive the Blue & Gold Athletics Service Award.
