Marist School Community Gives to Others This Christmas Season
When people consider holiday preparations each year, they may first think of decorating their homes and trees, buying gifts, visiting with family and friends, and attending church as they prepare for the celebration of the birth of Christ. At Marist School, the Adopt-a-family project has become a holiday tradition that Coordinator of Community Outreach Mrs. Karen Shanahan leads each year.
Marist School student Maddie Lamm ’22 was recently honored in Reporter Newspapers & Atlanta Intown’s “20 Under 20” list, which features Atlanta-area students who give back to their communities through volunteer service and leadership.
Last week saw winter sports continue with their seasons and spring sport practices commence. Those same winter teams will continue on with their campaigns this week, with one heading deeper into postseason competition after securing another region title.
