Reach for Excellence

Reach for Excellence is a tuition-free academic and leadership enrichment program that empowers determined learners and expands their possibilities in the classroom, in the community, and in life. Reach offers students of limited income a mix of academic, cultural, and community-based experiences that prepare them for the challenges of college-preparatory programs and high schools. The program takes place following a student's 6th, 7th and 8th grade years and includes weekend and summer sessions.

The Society of Mary founded Reach for Excellence in 2001, and the program is hosted on Marist School's campus.

Centro Hispano Marista

Centro Hispano Marista offers young, Hispanic adults an opportunity to obtain their GEDs. Faith formation is also part of the curriculum. This Society of Mary program opened at Marist School in August 2012.

Instructors and other volunteers include Marist students, staff and priests. Weekly classes are held on Tuesday evenings from September to May, and the Centro serves more than 700 students a year.

Notre Dame Academy

Notre Dame Academy is a Marist-sponsored school serving Pre-K2 through 12th grade students in Gwinnett County. It was founded in 2005 by Ms. Debra Orr. Notre Dame Academy was the first Catholic elementary school in the nation to receive authorization from the International Baccalaureate. In May 2019, the school graduated its inaugural senior class.
