Personal and Academic Counseling

Supporting You Along the Way

The personal and academic counselors at Marist School are pleased to welcome students and families to our community.  In support of the mission of Marist School, the personal and academic counselors are dedicated to serving the individual needs of each student. Counselors help student’s make the most of their Marist education by providing support to each students personal and educational goals.

We have one counselor dedicated to our Foundations students, and four counselors who each serve a grade of high school students. Although Marist is a school for students in grades 7 through 12, we know that our 7th and 8th grade students are at a different point in their lives cognitively, physically, and emotionally. The Foundations counselor will be dedicated towards serving their unique developmental needs. The remaining four counselors will serve our high school students, and those counselors will travel with that class and maintain those relationships over the course of their entire high school career. With eyes on one class, we are best able to meet the needs of our students by focusing on one grade level and digging into the unique group dynamics, challenges, and characteristics of each graduating class.

We invite you to come into the office (C255) to introduce yourself and get to know your counselor.

The counselors are always available to support the Marist Community, and to confidentially guide individuals and families to helpful resources for a variety of personal concerns. For additional resources, please login to the parent/student resource board.
