Marist Women Build

Who We Are

In 2001, the women of Marist School teamed up with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to form the first high school all women build in the country.

Our mission is to make homeownership a reality for families in need. We advance our mission by educating women about Habitat for Humanity and by teaching and supporting women volunteers who build with us. All Marist Women Build homes have been built for families with a single mother as head of the household which supports the MWB vision of homes built by women for women.

The following is needed to successfully build a Habitat for Humanity home:
  • $80,000 in funds raised from Sponsors and Builders
  • 200+ Volunteer Builders
  • 8 build days, 7-hours each
Volunteer Builders can build 1 day or multiple days.

House 23 in 2023!

Registration is now open!

Come build with us as we continue our mission of changing lives one home at a time and building affordable homes for women by women.

If we raise $80,000 through the generosity of our builders and sponsors, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity can build a home for a single mother to fulfill our mission again in 2023.

We have varying levels of sponsorships. 100% of all donations go directly toward the cost of building the home. To learn more visit our Be a Sponsor page.
