In 2001, the women of Marist School teamed up with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to form the first high school all women
build in the country.
Our mission is to make homeownership a reality for families in need. We advance our mission by educating women about Habitat for Humanity and by teaching and supporting women volunteers who build with us. All Marist Women Build homes have been built for families with a single mother as head of the household which supports the MWB
vision of homes built by women for women.
The following is needed to successfully build a Habitat for Humanity home:
Volunteer Builders can build 1 day or multiple days.
- $80,000 in funds raised from Sponsors and Builders
- 200+ Volunteer Builders
- 8 build days, 7-hours each
