Women's Bible Study

Marist Women’s Bible Study

Marist Women's Bible Study will continue to meet weekly in our online coffeehouse retreat via Zoom on Wednesdays at 9:30 am beginning September 1, 2021, to coincide with late-start Wednesdays. When things improve enough for safety we will resume in-person gatherings, but not at this time.

This year's theme is "Scripture in the Heart of the Eucharist."
Inviting inspiration from the Holy Spirit, we will seek nourishment from the biblical roots of the Eucharist and discuss how this shapes our families and faith communities who gather to hear, pray, offer praise, and seek transformation.

Led by Kathy Sexton, we seek to combine our shared experiences with prayer, music, and resources to receive the Word and open our hearts to the Holy Spirit. This is not intended as a “class” but as a way to frame discussion that continues to draw from the wisdom of those in the room. Join us for lively discussions about how these scripture stories are relevant for our families and for our world today, respecting our differences and seeking unity.

We are open to all faiths. This is a perfect way for new Marist moms to meet other Marist moms, alumni, and friends. Join us. We continue to pray that one day soon, we can again meet in-person.
If you have any questions and if you would like to receive meeting links and info, please contact Kathy at WomensBibleStudy@marist.com.
"Make your Eucharistic table a place of lavish abundance and extravagant service, where the tired, the poor, the hungry, and all who, driven by despair and need, may find real food, real rest, real comfort, real nurture.”
